Keaton Fox

BFA Art Video / Anthropology Syracuse University

Keaton Fox is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work investigates the endless ways in which technology alters human perception.

Fueled by equal parts fascination and frustration, Fox collages the natural with the virtual to create visual experiments that playfully explore the varied realities of our time.

Her work has been shown nationally, internationally, physically, and digitally in environments such as Area Code Art Fair, Athens Institute for Contemporary Art, The Wrong Biennale, Media City Film Festival, Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, and Künstlerhaus Bethanien to name a few.

Before pursuing her MFA, Fox was the Assistant Director at Boston Cyberarts Gallery as well as the Media & Technology Education Coordinator at Cambridge Community Television. She continues to teach and curate, with her most notable curatorial project, HOT STEAM Video Art Festival, entering its third year. Fox strives to combine the worlds of education, art, community, and tech through her practice, using media as a tool to bring people together as we collectively stumble through digital disarray of the 21st century.
