Art Summer Camp – Welcome Packet (Summer 2026)
A newly launched camp focused on energetic, exciting, and active-based art programming.
Welcome to the inaugural year of the UIC School of Art & Art History Art Summer Camp. This program is designed to provide hands-on art experiences in an active studio environment that supports curiosity, creativity, skill-building, and confidence through making. Campers will work through structured studio blocks led by licensed K–12 art educators, with time for collaboration, reflection, and a family showcase at the end of the week. Our camp is led by current School of Art and Art History staff members, our instructors, who are graduates of our Art Education Program, and licensed K-12 educators. Your child will have access to all that the School of Art and Art History has built for our college-level classes, but pared down into exciting and creative exploration in a variety of Art mediums. By combining new technologies with traditional media, your child will create things they never thought possible.
Friday Family Showcase: Families are invited to attend a brief exhibition of camper work from 3:00-4:00 PM on the final Friday of each session.

Cost |
$500.00 per week for full-day camp - all art materials covered, camp shirt provided, 1:10 instructor-to-student ratio, snacks provided(nut-free) but not lunch. |
