The new Dick Higgins website, dickhiggins.org, encapsulates the breadth of the artists creative endeavors, from his visual arts to his writing to his musical composition. Known for his impact on the Fluxus art movement of the mid-twentieth century, the website highlights Higgins's Flux objects and role in the movement. A PDF of his 1963 book Postface is also available on his website, as well as a comprehensive list of his own publications and the works of his independent publishing house The Something Else Press. Furthermore, the estate lists a bibliography of writings on the artist, as well as contact info for the estate, for anyone hoping to do further research on the topic.
Special thanks goes towards Christopher Reeves (Art History PhD '21) for the research and design that made the website possible, as well as Joshua Selman, Jessica Higgins for her work as co-executor of the Estate of Dick Higgins, and Joe Reinstein. Also, thank you to the Dick Higgins archive and the Peter Moore Photography archive, Charles Deering McCormick Library of Special Collections at Northwestern University and The Getty Center.
