Surviving the Long Wars Reviewed in South Side Weekly and Hyperallergic

Surviving the Long Wars, the exhibitions and project co-initiated and directed by Therese Quinn and Aaron Hughes (UIC Museum and Exhibition Studies) and Ronak Kapadia (UIC Gender and Women’s Studies) were reviewed in South Side Weekly and Hyperallergic!

The project and its programs highlight the connections that emerge between artworks by war-impacted artists grappling with the legacy of US counterinsurgency from the “American Indian Wars” to the “Global War on Terror.”
