Gallery 400’s Voices lecture series is a leading forum in Chicago for the discourse of art and design practice. We are delighted that interdisciplinary artist and educator Kamau Patton will join us for our final lecture of the semester. Patton’s work examines history and culture through engagement with archives, documents, stories, and sites. He will talk about his current project Tel, which is a platform for performance, study, and contemplation that will question how the nature of memory has changed in relation to the encroachment of cyberspace, telematics, and transmission technologies.
Virtual via Zoom (captions available)
