Christopher Kai Olsen

Chris Olsen merges performance, audio, film, installation, and new media into experiential works that explore mystery, identity, humor, and the human experience. His work has shown across the country at Artemisia Gallery, Ruth Page Center for Dance, ArtSquad Contemporary Fine Arts Gallery (Easton, PA), the Polaroid Corporation, Music Box Theatre, the Chicago International Film Fest, Miami Short Film Fest, Fort Lauderdale International Film Fest, Little Rock Film Fest, the Clinton Presidential Library (Little Rock, AR), Moondance Film Fest (Boulder, CO), Hollyshorts Film Fest (Los Angeles, CA), Bumbershoot FIlm Fest (Seattle, WA), Reno Film Fest, Big Bear Lake Film Fest, Foursite Film Fest (Ogden, UT) and many others. He has collaborated with numerous dance companies including Big Muddy (St Louis, MO), Thodos Dance Chicago, and Inaside Dance (Chicago), and has produced five films for PBS television, three of which have recieved EMMY nominations.
