Laleh Motlagh BOLT Artist Resident

The Chicago Artists Coalition has announced that Laleh Motlagh (MFA '21) is one of six artists in residence for their BOLT program! BOLT is a one-year juried residency program for emerging and mid-career Chicago artists offers onsite studio space and monthly visits by influential artists and art professionals.

Motlagh’s work intertwines with the non-human others. She explores notions of love, intimacy, power and vulnerability, trust and resilience through drawing, painting, performance, and video installation. She focuses on interdependencies among bodies, human and nonhuman. Congrats, Laleh!
