Students Alejandro Colunga Jr. and Bu Reh participate in GYO

Congratulations to Alejandro Colunga Jr. (Pre-Art Education) and Bu Reh (BFA in Art Education major). Alejandro and Bu were recently selected from a pool of over 100 applicants across Chicago to participate in Grow Your Own Teachers Illinois (GYO), a program that works to diversify the teaching profession in the state. GYO participants receive up to $25,000.00 in tuition relief, ongoing mentorship and professional development, and a financial stipend during the student teaching semester. https://growyourownteachers.org/
