MUSE Graduate Sarita Hernández, Homegrown Fellow at the National Museum of Mexican Art, Curates Exhibition

An exhibition Sarita Hernández curated with Dolores Mercado, Rebecca D. Meyers and Ximena Ayon, Open Access: Behind-the-Scenes of the Permanent Collection, at the National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA), opened Friday February 22, 2019. The exhibit will continue through July 28, 2019. "Open Access: Behind-the-Scenes of the Permanent Collection Did you ever wonder what goes on beyond those “Staff Only” signs? This living exhibit will provide a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of what our Museum’s Permanent Collection professional staff does and why we wear those white gloves. Puertas abiertas: El detrás de escena de la colección permanente ¿Alguna vez se ha preguntado que pasa más allá de los letreros que dicen “Acceso solamente para personal autorizado”?
