MUSE Student Nancy Villafranca to receive 2016 Sor Juana Achievement Award

 

For nearly 20 years, the National Museum of Mexican Art has awarded the Sor Juana Achievement Award in order to recognize and honor women worldwide for their outstanding civic, social, artistic and lifetime contributions. From the National Museum of Mexican Art website: "This award honors local women of Mexican descent who have contributed to our community through the arts, academia, 
civic leadership, volunteer work or professional leadership."
