The Graduate Student Symposium will begin Friday April, 10, 2015, and continue through Saturday April, 11, 2015, at the Art Institute of Chicago. All events take place in the Nichols Trustees Suit in the Modern Wing unless otherwise noted. Find a full schedule of events here.
The Department of Museum Education has hosted an annual symposium for graduate students in art history at Midwestern universities for the past 48 years. Students with outstanding research or writing are chosen by their universities to present a paper. A local faculty member acts as discussant to the panels.
