Spring through Summer 2014--- MUSE graduate student Bretta Grumley ('13) completed an intership at Cambridge Art Association (http://www.cambridgeart.org) where she worked as a Gallery and Membership Coordinator from May through August of this year. Her internship included creating membership updates, organizing information for resources used in advertising, assisting in events for the members, and deinstalling work for upcoming shows.
As part of her position, Bretta helped with a postcard show titled "Wish You Were Here" that asked anyone (including members) to create a postcard for a CAA fundraising event. Each postcard was sold for 25 dollars each and every single card was posted in the 25 Lowell Street location (Katharyn Shultz Gallery). To get other people involved in addition to the members, Bretta and other interns set up a booth at the Cambridge River Festival and handed out blank postcards to be mailed back to KS Gallery for display. This allowed artists as young as 3 years old to participate in the "Wish You Were Here" Exhibition.
Bretta worked on various other exhibitions including the current exhibition, the CAA's Fall Salon.
