Chris Markin is the Instructional Lab Specialist for Photography and the Building Manager for Art & Exhibition Hall. He brings years of photographic knowledge from both artistic and commercial practices to the School of Art and Art History. He has shown work in a variety of different galleries and worked with the Chicago Bulls, Bears, and Blackhawks as well as Playboy. While working through college he trained as a therapist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as taught photo classes for the Upward Bound Program. He continues to grow his knowledge in the photographic medium as well as guide and help students to realize their artistic goals.
