Monica Nydam is a studio based artist living and working in Chicago, IL. She graduated with a BFA in painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. Themes in her work are class, human purpose and painting about painting. Her work have been exhibited at Tufts University Gallery, The Wayside, La Montagne Gallery, Fourth Wall Project, Kingston Gallery, and the Distillery Gallery. Private and public collections such as the Children's Hospital Public Art Collection in Boston. She was awarded the Massachusetts Cultural Council's Artist Fellowship.
